Sales Orders

The Sales Orders tab allows the user to view and manage the orders that are coming in to the Univex Communicator from their customers.

The main grid on the Sales Orders tab, the first one viewable when the program is started, contains a line for each order that has been received.

Fields viewable include:

Customer Code:
A 6 code assigned to identify the customer within the supplier's records; each customer must have an unique code.
Customer Name:
The name of the customer.
Customer Order Number:
The order number set by the customer's Univex Business software.
Order Number:
The order number set for reference within the supplier's records. This is set during the order confirmation process.
Order Date:
The date the order was created; assigned by the customer's computer.
Total:
The total value of the order. An option to switch between including and excluding tax is on the Settings tab.
Confirmed:
Will show the date that a confirmation of order reply was sent to the customer or blank if one has not been sent.
Invoiced:
Will show the date that the invoice was sent to the customer or blank if an invoice has not yet been sent.

Get Orders:
Checks for new orders that have been placed, checking for new orders can be automatically set up in the Edit Email Settings dialogue of the Settings page
View Order:
Shows detailed information regarding a particular order.
Confirm Order:
Shows detailed information regarding a particular order. The order can be edited and marked as received in both the Univex Communicator and the customer's Univex Business software.
Send Invoice:
Shows editable information regarding the order's invoice. The invoice can be marked as sent in the Univex Communicator and send to the customers Univex Business Software.
Filters:
Filters can be applied to turn on or off the display of New Orders, Confirmed Orders and Invoiced orders, or any combination. A tick next to each option indicates that it is currently being displayed in the main grid.
